Best place to eat around here. Honestly, best Thai that I've ever eaten. Everything I've eaten on their menu is fantastic.
I'm not from Clarendon, but happen to pass by every time I'm driving through. Definitely not passing by this place anymore without stopping. The staff was extremely friendly, the place was clean, and the food was downright AMAZING. I honestly never thought I would get 5 star Thai food in Clarendon, but it exists and it is here. Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to.
What a wonderful gem in small town Clarendon! Like many other reviewers, we were in Clarendon on our way to Colorado. We were enticed to have dinner here, based on what others had posted. Jinda Cafe lived up to expectations and more! It's clean, staff is wonderful, and the food is amazing. The special Green Curry Salmon, presented in a lovely white oval bowl, was extremely fresh and flavorful. It had a lovely assortment of vegetables, was perfectly spiced, and had just the right amount of heat. It melted in my mouth. Delicious! My husband had the breaded and fried chicken breast with fried rice. It was perfect! The chicken was light, crispy, and tender. The fried rice was so very tasty and didn't rely on soy sauce for its flavor. It was fluffy, and not all all greasy. Fabulous! We can't wait to come back thru and eat here again. What a wonderful find. Thank you!
Excellent Thai restaurant. Very small. Very fresh summer rolls. Delightfully light, nearly clear broth with spring onions and cilantro. I could have drunk a gallon of it! Lemongrass chicken, very tasty. Fried rice not greasy at all and very eggy. Wonderful sticky-rice. Very low prices. I thought my eyes were deceiving me!
I’ve eaten at many Thai restaurants and this place by far was the best I’ve had! The Chicken curry I ordered was so good without being too heavy. I live in Amarillo and I’d say it’d be worth taking a short road trip just to eat there again. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the owner was super nice.
Really enjoyed the restaurant, staff was very friendly and food tasted amazing. The one bad thing was that both mine and my brothers meal were supposed to come with the house soup and neither of the meals actually came with it. Side note the bathroom is one room for both genders and only has room for one person at a time.
Very nice place, that was quite unexpected in such a small town. Plates were very delicious, good portions. I recommend the green curry or the garlic stir fry. The shrimp wraps are amazing. The staff was very friendly and continuously check on us and every. About half way through our meals the owner comes with a tray of their house soup and gave everyone one for free. Not sure if it's tradition or a welcomed surprise. Regardless the soup is very good and I would like to bottle it up for days when you are sick. I would definitely drive from Amarillo to this place, and look forward to my next visit in Clarendon to eat again.
Great little Thai spot for takeout on the way to Colorado. The owners were very friendly and even brought our food and a water bottle (free of charge) to our car in the rain. Make sure to call ahead to place your order since the majority of people do that (especially during COVID-19). I've attached the menu along with some of the plates we had. Would definitely go there again if I stop through.
I drive this route a lot, but somehow missed this gem of a restaurant. BEST BEST BEST food. Service was awesome, prices are great. Cannot wait to go past again and stop for soup and the best fried rice. There is a reason it has only 5 star reviews. A+++++
Very good. Needed more heat in the food but owner offered secret sauce which did the trick. The wife wanted more egg in the fried rice and thought it was too salty. Delicious Thai coffee. Worth stopping for.
What a wonderful surprise to find this gem of a restaurant in Clarendon. After a long day of driving I enjoyed the shrimp and asparagus special. It came with a large portion of white rice. The owner also brought me a small bowl of soup to try. It was all delicious! His wife does the cooking. Very courteous service. The place is cozy. Each table had real flowers. I definitely recommend trying Jinda Cafe when you are in Clarendon.
I love this little restaurant and try to plan my trips so I can have dinner there. I've eaten a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. I like seeing local families come there and listen to their children ordering Thai or Laotian food.If it is near closing and I'm the only one there, the owner will come sit at a table near me and visit. I've learned about him and his business.I'll be traveling through later this month and I do hope they are open. They close from 3 to 5 in the afternoon and at 9 for the night. They are closed on Sundays.
